There has to be an I/O thing I have wrong. In the Mac System Preferences sound Output and Input I have Presonus FireStudio selected. The settings for the configuration that I have should only be setup one way for it to work. There are lots of ways to do it wrong, take my word for it. If someone could just go over the I/O between the software through the Universal Control and StudioLive 24 to the Mac sound setting in the 'Systems Preferences' running OS X 10.6.8 I have come to the conclusion that my problem has got to be the Mac sound settings stuff.
